Benevolent lock and its key
One of the very first locks to combine all functions: opening and closing from the inside and outside by the key operating the forked deadbolt, locking at the latch bolt by slamming the door, and locking further by the top knob or "night bolt" that a jealous husband's key cannot open from the outside.
