Attached are various autograph documents by Charcot (notably on Pourquoi Pas letterhead and various documents concerning Charcot's obsequies in Iceland and France, including press clippings, Yacht Club de France brochure, Yacht Club de France circular, handwritten map of the Pourquoi Pas shipwreck and coloured pencil sketch by Jean-Paul Alaux "Cortège du cercueil" and a fragment of blue, white and red ribbon.
